I work as a data analyst in a social science team (mainly sociology & political science), where I bring support to fellow researchers with survey methodology and statistical analysis.

My original training is in applied linguistics, not statistics. Besides that, I have over 10 years experience in IT and development, and many years of experience in data analysis. I learned more about statistics on the job, and through continuing education -but I wish I had chosen it as my original training, it's an exciting field!
