I've been using this one for years: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/sv.swedish%23holiday%40group.v.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

  • For the longest time, it was all in Swedish language, as desired and expected.
  • Then, a few of the holidays descriptions were changed into English but most remained in Swedish.
  • Now, quite recently, they have silently switched over to all-English holiday descriptions.

Is there such a thing which actually uses Swedish for the descriptions? That is, I don't want "Summer time", but "Sommartid", and I don't want "Christmas Eve", but "Julafton", etc.

The "sv.swedish" part of the URL suggests that it should be in Swedish, but as we have learned all too well, you can never rely on Google to not randomly change things around or just remove them entirely.
