I'm looking for a data set for a city (It doesn't matter which one) where the important points in the city and their distances from each other is given. Overall, I need to create a weighed graph of the routes in a city, with the closer ones connected to each other and wight of each edge is set as the distance in the city between the to nodes connected by it.

I was hoping to be able to get some useful data from the goolemapsAPI but I couldn't find anything useful enough. I also found the osmnx package in python but it also didn't provide exactly what I needed.

The closest data set I found to what I needed was the Stanford SNAP data set for California road networks but that doesn't include the distances and has way too many nodes.

Is there any dataset giving this kind of information, or one where I can extract this from?

Thanks in advance
